Today my friend Meg came over for a play date. Meg & I taught kindergarten together in Minneapolis 8 years ago. We got to be good teaching buddies (honestly, I don't think I could have survived that year without her!), but the end of that year brought lay-offs for both of us. So our paths haven't crossed a whole lot since then. But now we share the bond of being mothers of 3 boys. (her youngest, Samuel, is too little to climb up to the top bunk!) It was a riot watching all of these little guys playing together. I feel blessed by Meg's friendship and hope our boys will grow to be good friends as well!
