Downtown Christmas Adventure

Last Friday we hopped on the light rail for our annual tradition of meeting Daddy downtown the day before Christmas Eve. The boys loved looking at all the lights, walking through Macy's 8th floor, and eating a sweet treat before dinner. : )

Christmas 2011

CPC Christmas Eve service and fondue dinner at Weilers. Family Christmas at home on Christmas morning , then Quang on Christmas Day and a relaxing afternoon at the Weilers. No snow this year was a bummer, but there was lots of fun cousin time!

Wooddale Preschool Christmas Program

Our last preschool Christmas program ever (yes, I was a bit emotional). Micah was proud to wear his tie and he sang his little heart out.

Peterson Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful first Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's Apple Valley home.....celebrated on Dec. 18th. The kids performed Christmas music, we enjoyed the traditional Swedish meal, and just had fun being together.

Megan is 10!

Our sweet, beautiful niece turned 10 this month. Although I didn't capture it in pictures, the highlight of the party was the "Megan Christmas Carol Sing-Off." Each team took a song and changed the words to fit Megan's personality/hobbies/etc. Wish I would have had a video camera. It was hilarious! I'm thankful to live near family so we can celebrate these milestones.

Getting our Christmas Tree

We went on our annual trek to Hampton Tree Farm and found the perfect tree! A stop in Northfield for lunch at Hogan Brothers was a treat!

Cousin Time!

We hosted Thanksgiving with all the Wangs this year. There were 19 of us (including our friend Elisa). It was great to have Addison home from college for the first time. I must have been so preoccupied that I didn't take many pictures. But I did manage to capture these boys playing in the backyard. The weather was gorgeous, so there was a lot of time outdoors. They had a blast. We are so very thankful for our cousins.

Fall Recital

We were so proud of AJ and Jordan at their fall recital. AJ played Allegro and Jordan swayed to Twinkle Theme. Ms. Elise is such a fabulous teacher!

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

My baby is in his last year of preschool. I love that I have been able to join him for some special events. Here we are at the annual Thanksgiving feast. I cherish these moments, as I'm learning all too quickly how fast time flies.

Our New Baby Cousin!

We welcome Osa Helene Kay to our family! She was born on Nov. 2nd, and is such a precious little girl. It's so fun to see my brother as a daddy.
