My Hockey Superstar!

Last night was so exciting....AJ scored 4 goals (and an assist) in his game against Eden Prairie! He was on fire. Too bad Dad missed it, he was at Jordan's practice. I guess I need to own up to the fact that I am evolving into a hockey mom. : )

Field Trip!

Micah and I had such a fun time chaperoning Jordan's class field trip to Sea Life Aquarium at MOA. Carter and Matthew just loved having a little brother to watch out for. : )

Winter Recital

Jordan played Twinkle theme on the A string. Look how tall and proud he looks!
AJ played Minuet 1 beautifully!

Science Fair

AJ decided to participate in this year's science fair. We were so proud of his efforts. He really worked hard and learned all about the scientific process. Way to go, AJ!!! And yes, short buildings are more stable than tall buildings. : )

AJ is 8!

My sweet boy turned 8. Hard to believe! He had 3 days of celebrating, starting with shared cake with Aunt Rica.
We rented out Poplar Bridge cafeteria and AJ had 15 friends for a pirate/sledding party. AJ was the only one to get injured falling off his sled and landing on the icy ground. We were just glad to have some snow so these crazy boys wouldn't be stuck inside for 2 hours!
AJ's actual birthday started off with the usual chocolate chip pancakes. Poor kid came home from school with a fever and sore throat. He was a trooper and still played in his violin recital that evening. : )

Lion King

Grandma's Christmas present to the grandkids was Lion King at the Orpheum. The cousins had a blast together and the show was incredible. Thanks, Grandma, for an amazing day!

Winter Days

The boys have found MANY ways to entertain themselves this winter. Jordan was in Chess Club this fall so he's been teaching the game to his brothers. Micah loves sitting in his desk for "learning time" while his brothers do their homework. And of course dress-up is always a popular choice for all of them!

On The Ice

Our boys are enjoying being on the ice this winter. Micah is gaining confidence, taking skating lessons once a week. Jordan is a Rookie Mite and has really come a long way! AJ is in his 3rd year as a Mite, playing more games and gaining more and more skills. Too bad we've had such a mild winter....they'd be out on the rinks even more. ; )
We love playing with our friends!

Children's Museum

We had a fun day at the museum with our cousins over winter break. I love watching my kids engaged in creative play. So fun!
