My sweet boy turned 8. Hard to believe! He had 3 days of celebrating, starting with shared cake with Aunt Rica.
We rented out Poplar Bridge cafeteria and AJ had 15 friends for a pirate/sledding party. AJ was the only one to get injured falling off his sled and landing on the icy ground. We were just glad to have some snow so these crazy boys wouldn't be stuck inside for 2 hours!
AJ's actual birthday started off with the usual chocolate chip pancakes. Poor kid came home from school with a fever and sore throat. He was a trooper and still played in his violin recital that evening. : )
