AJ and Aunt Rica have birthdays within a week of each other, and they had fun celebrating together at Grandma and Grandpa's new house!
On his actual birthday, we enjoyed our traditional birthday breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes and smoothies. Then I brought McDonalds to school and was very amused sitting at the 1st grade lunch table. It was also fun to join the class during indoor recess. Six and seven year olds are a riot!
Jordan & Micah were just as excited as AJ about his birthday. They made a poster, decorated a cake, and picked out special presents for him.

Our family enjoyed spaghetti and chocolate cake for dinner (AJ's favorite), then opened presents and played his new Wii game.

Instead of a friend party this year, we took AJ and a couple cousins to MOA. He is now just tall enough to go on the the big rides. He and Ben went on the Sponge Bob Plunge ride 6 times. My stomach got queezy just watching them....my boy is growing up. Love you so much, AJ. Can't wait to see what this next year has in store for you!
