Summer Fun

We're loving summer! As you can see from the pictures, the boys can't get enough of the outdoors. We've visited many parks, wading pools, and beaches, not to mention hours just playing in the backyard. We've also spent some time at my family's cabin.....lots of swimming and exploring in the woods.

Micah is 3 1/2 months old and is adored by his brothers. It's fun to watch their sibling relationships develop, even at such a young age. They love when we pretend to talk to them in a Micah voice. And AJ & Jordan have to know where he is at all times. They try to lie on top of him in his bouncy seat. When we intervene and tell them to stop hurting their brother, we notice that Micah is smiling through it all. Needless to say, he is turning into a tough kid!










Uncle Brian graduated from medical school in May. The boys did great on the 6 hour road trip to Illinois. We also spent some time visiting cousins, staying at a hotel and going to Brookfield Zoo.

We can finally say we've successfully potty trained one of our children. AJ, who is 3 1/2, was trained last weekend. Apart from a few periodic accidents, he has basically crossed over into "big boyhood". I confess the whole process intimidated me, but it wasn't so bad after all (OK, we bribed him with candy and matchbox cars, but hey, it worked!) One morning AJ came into the kitchen, wearing only his underwear. Jordan looked at him and said "Poo." AJ responded, "Be quiet JoJo, it's serious." Sure enough, he had pooped his pants.
