Jordan is 3!

We celebrated JoJo's birthday this weekend! As always, the cousins had fun being crazy together. Jordan is excited to have crossed the threshold into "big boyhood." He's going potty now, and gets a piece of gum (a new treat, now that he's 3) every time he poops. He really is seeming big to me now. It's so fun to watch his unique personality develop. We are truly blessed by his precious life!

I was able to spend 5 days at the cabin this weekend. It was awesome to have an extended time with my boys, and then with good friends. The boys enjoyed playing hide and seek in the woods and, of course, jumping in the leaves!

I had an amazing birthday weekend! I'm now 35 years old. I must admit that these past couple months I've been feeling more aches and pains. Must be because I'm getting older. Lawrence surprised me with the perfect gift, a day at the spa on Saturday. I've never felt so pampered in my life. 4 1/2 hours of pure luxury.....did I mention I had the entire day to myself? Lawrence arranged for a sitter that night (thanks, Danita!) and we went out to eat at Sakura, a Japanese restaurant in St. Paul (I'd highly recommend it). We spent my actual birthday with my family. AJ helped Grandma make my birthday cake....delicious, AJ! I am truly blessed.

Minnetonka Orchards

We had a great time at the apple orchard yesterday! The weather was perfect, and we had fun spending the morning with A-ma & A-gong. As you can see in the slideshow, the boys had a blast. Now I just need to get motivated enough to make something with all of these apples!

Summer Lingers On

Last night we ate dinner on the front porch, enjoying these last warm days before the crispness of fall is upon us. But I must admit.....today I was grumbling about the hot weather. Fall is my favorite season of the year, and I can't wait for it. (I know, I'll soon be eating my words......when the temp. falls below freezing!)
