Camping On the North Shore

I'm so proud of my boy. They hiked 2 miles in the dark to their campsite, pitched their tent in the dark at 11 pm. Woke up to 25 degree weather. But they had a blast together. One of AJ's highlights was pooping in a hole. I'm thinking these camping trips will provide awesome male bonding moments in the years to come. :-)

Who's who?

Love the creativity in my boys! I had a fun date at the Children's Museum with Jordan & Micah while Daddy and AJ went on their north shore camping/hiking trip.

Breck Homecoming

We joined the Weilers at Breck's Homecoming festival. The boys got balloon swords and had a blast hanging out with their cousin. Let's be honest....who wouldn't love cotton candy, caramel apples, and frosted cookies....all before lunch? It was a fun day.

Target Book Festival at Hyland

Jordan & AJ made valiant efforts to climb the wall, among other fun activities at the Target Book Festival. After 2 1/2 years living here, our family finally rode our bikes all the way to Chutes & Ladders. It was a hot, humid day, so I was very proud of the endurance the boys showed. It's so fun to be able to enjoy more activities as our boys get older.

Go Twins!

We finally made it to our first Twins game in the new stadium! The boys' school had a family night and the boys thought it was awesome to see their teachers there! The Twins lost (no surprise) and the wind was chilly, but we had a great time!

First Day of School

Yeah, I know. It's October 5th. Finally posting those pics from the first day of school! Jordan officially started the day after AJ, but he got to see his classroom and bring in all of his school supplies. What a month it's been! Jordan absolutely loves kindergarten. He is making new friends and adjusting very well to the busy routine. (It takes him about 1 minute to fall asleep each night) AJ is loving 2nd grade. He decided to go out for student council, prepared a speech to give to his class. He's really growing up and I'm so proud of him!
